A new vegan pop-up is launching in Lincoln next month – promising to bring an exciting new element to the food movement.
The Kind Kebab, which is owned by husband and wife team Derek and Alison Buxton, is a new venture and will launch at Lincoln Central Market next month.
Launching on October 11 in City Square, the market’s latest pop-up will produce 100% vegan food including kebabs and sausages – starting from £5.
Derek, who started out in the catering industry before working as an airline pilot, says the pair got their pop-up inspiration from their vegan daughter.
The couple, who are both vegan, will also be having a stand at the Sausage Festival at Lincoln Castle on October 13.
Derek told CityX: “This is a new venture for us, and our trailer is being built as we speak.
“We have been in Lincoln for quite a few years and really got our inspiration from our daughter, who has been the driving force for our business.
